The Arc Tank 3.0 Partnerships
November 19, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The Arc Tank is our quest to positively disrupt disability services!
Northeast Arc is hosting the 3rd annual Arc Tank on Tuesday, November 19th. The past two years we saw innovation in action — hearing ideas that will help positively disrupt disability services to improve the lives of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or autism and their families. We heard from out-of-the-box thinkers, people who can imagine possibilities, be creative, and who want to change the status quo.
Arc Tank has been about Partnerships since it was originally funded and created. The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation has served as our host at the Presidential Library and Museum. This year, new partners have been added to support the quest to continue to think big and to think bold.
The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, the Nancy Lurie Marks Family Foundation and the State of Connecticut Council on Developmental Disabilities are contributing to The Changing Lives Fund this year, to support the effort to positively disrupt how disability services are offered.
The Changing Lives Fund was established through a $1 million donation by local business and philanthropic leader Steven P. Rosenthal. To date, more than $400,000 has been awarded to some of the most innovative and impactful ideas for people with disabilities and their families — see previous winners.
