What is the role of Research Development?

Research Development empowers world class researchers through facilitation and partnership to solve global challenges and amplify the impact of the Northeastern University research enterprise. Our team provides support to individual faculty members, teams of researchers, and the Colleges in promoting Northeastern research, attracting and securing external research funding, bringing interdisciplinary teams together, and envisioning and implementing research strategies. We provide resources for Northeastern researchers to identify funding opportunities and develop highly competitive proposals.
